About Subspace Radio

Subspace Radio is an Internet Radio Station broadcasting live music with relevant game content and chat to the players of Cryptics's Star Trek Online 24 hours a day, 7 days a week as of December 2009. The intent at this early stage is to broadcast high quality 128kbps streams from two active live channels as well as a dedicated jukebox system during the run up to game launch. Full live service will begin in January of 2010 although full jukebox automation is currently enabled.

Subspace Radio is financed and maintained by the Gaming Radio Network, an established internet radio gaming organisation that has been responsible for some of the largest and most popular game specific radio stations created for an internet only audience. It's flagship product, Eve Radio has been in operation since mid 2003, running a full 24/7 live service with thousands of unique weekly listeners while directly supporting the worlds largest persistent single world MMO, Eve Online.

With years of experience creating media and content for many MMO and general gaming internet radio stations, it made sense to expand into the exciting world of Star Trek Online and we hope to recruit a young and vibrant batch of new DJ's to take us forward into the new year and far beyond.

Hopefully, combining the mutual passion for internet radio and Star Trek we will be able to create an exciting and thoughtful radio station that will offer you, the avid Star Trek Online gamer the ultimate mix of news, music and discussion while we explore Cryptics Final Frontier.
